WHAT SHE SAID II

Lover, I am the ocean.
Many parts of a whole,
chaotic but gentle,
sweet and saline,
cyan but pure.
If you’re just going to stand by my shores
when I could show you the entire ocean,
I suggest you keep walking.

I could be anything I want in this galaxy
and others many light years from here,
I refuse to exist solely to rinse your feet

  1. What a nice poem and personally i can almost relate to this there are sometimes i feel like my feelings are like a river/ocean and if i keep trying to hold back it’ll just get even more worst so i just let it go

    1. it’s funny that you used the words “river/ocean” cause I have another piece on this page that’s called “rivers and roads” and the poem is very similar to this. But thanks. I am glad that you like the poem!!
